As we’re in beta at the moment, MonieWorld is invite-only. There are two different ways you can be invited:
By invite link
You’ll most likely get this as an email or message, and it will contain a link you need to click to continue signing up.
1. Open the invite message you received and click on the link to take you to a web page
2. Enter your UK mobile number and complete the SMS code step
3. Complete your signup by creating and confirming your passcode and adding your personal details
By invite code
There’s a chance you will have been given an invite code, but haven’t received a link. The process is nearly the same, except in this case you need to enter the code you were given when you sign up:
1. Download the MonieWorld UK app or continue on our website instead
2. Select ‘Sign up’
3. Enter your UK mobile number and complete the SMS code step
4. Enter your invite code
Complete your signup by creating and confirming your passcode, setting up biometrics and adding your personal details

To open a MonieWorld UK account you must:
If you do not yet have a GBP account
You’re eligible for our starting limit of up to £3,500 a year. This can be sent in one go or over the course of the year.
If you have a GBP account
You could send substantially more. To check your eligibility for higher daily and annual limits, we’ll ask you a few additional questions.
Tap your profile icon on the top left of the home screen to see your current transfer limits.
The cost you see is the cost you pay. We don’t add additional transaction fees or charges onto payments, whether for domestic transfers or international transfers from the UK to Nigeria.
We add a small markup to the exchange rate, which is how we (and many other money transfer businesses) make money.
MonieWorld is a trading name of Moniepoint GB, which is a distributor of PayrNet. To protect your funds, PayrNet as an electronic money institution (EMI) must meet strict regulatory requirements, which means any money deposited into your MonieWorld account is stored in one or more segregated bank accounts with a regulated third party credit institution, in accordance with the provisions of the Electronic Money Regulations 2011.
Unlike UK banks, PayrNet is not protected by insurance schemes like the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) as it does not cover electronic money products. No other compensation scheme exists to cover losses from your electronic money account.
