How do I reset my passcode?

If you’re logged out:


  1. Open the app and enter your mobile number
  2. On the passcode screen tap ‘Forgot your passcode’
  3. Complete the security step to verify your identity
  4. Create your new passcode


If you’re logged in:


  1. Tap your profile icon on the top-left of the home screen
  2. Tap Security
  3. Tap ‘Update’ next to Passcode
  4. Complete the security step to verify your identity
  5. Create your new passcode


Remember, never share your passcode with anyone!


If you’re still having issues resetting your passcode, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

I want to close my account

We hope you’re enjoying using MonieWorld. However, if you do decide to close your account, be aware that it’s permanent and that once your account is closed, you won’t be able to log in or access any data.


To close your account:


  1. Withdraw any money you have in your GBP account. You won’t be able to close your account until your balance is zero.
  2. Tap your profile icon on the top left of the home screen
  3. Tap Security
  4. Tap Account closure
  5. Tap Close my account
  6. You'll be asked to enter your passcode for security to confirm your identity


After completing the process, your account will be closed.

How can I switch notifications on or off?
  1. Tap your profile icon on the top left of the home screen
  2. Tap Notifications
  3. Select the types of notifications you want, and how you to receive them

How do I log in on a new device?
  1. Open the MonieWorld app on your new device
  2. Log in with your existing account credentials
  3. Follow any on-screen prompts to verify the new device
  4. If you do log in to your MonieWorld account on a shared or public device, for your security we recommend you unlink it via your security settings as soon as you’ve finished using it.
